PlayStation 5 gamers urged to avoid 'nasty' error that stops you gaming

PlayStation 5 gamers urged to avoid 'nasty' error that stops you gaming

This isn't what we want to see or experience when trying to play

When one door opens, another closes. Although Sony is rolling out a much needed update we’ve been praying for sometime now, there are other issues we’re still dealing with.

One such problem is a particularly “nasty” error that will stop you gaming in your tracks, arguably a gamers’ worst nightmare.

Ready to dive into hell? Then Helldivers 2 is exactly what you're looking for, you foolhardy thrill seeker!

Our nightmares might sound laughable, but you don’t know suffering quite like being prevented from playing a game you’ve thought about all day long. So allow us to moan, we’ve earnt that right.

When the newest update for Helldivers 2 became available, it fixed the problem that stopped players from joining the server, thus making getting into a game much quicker. However, that fix came with its own set of unique issues, one which stopped players joining servers because it was “at capacity”.

Arrowhead Game being determined as ever to resolve some of the “intergalactic cooperative chaos” of its game, addressed the issue and explained that it was sending its best bug fixers in to rectify the problem. Arrowhead posted: “We´re currently experiencing a nasty PS5 login bug. We’ve sent our most trustworthy team The Bug Crushers (TM) to investigate a relay station in the outer rim that went silent earlier today. As soon as they report back, we´ll update you here. Pray for them.”

Our prayers must have worked because this awful error is reportedly fixed. Hurray! What is more, the fix for the bug is a simple one; according to Arrowhead, all PS5 players need to do is reboot their consoles and the error message should be gone.

Note the use of should in that sentence – although this is a fix, it’s one that Arrowhead is hopeful will work but that isn’t, as of yet, a guaranteed solution. As such, if you still run into trouble it’s worth giving Arrowhead the heads up so it’s aware that the problem still persists.
