PlayStation 5 gamers surprised with free download out of the blue

Well worth playing

If you’re yet to try Sayonara Wild Hearts then I suggest you go about changing that.

Developed by Simogo and published by Annapurna Interactive, Sayonara Wild Hearts first launched back in 2019.

It’s easily one of the most stylish rhythm games I have ever played.

You’ll star as a young woman who’s thrust into a surreal, cosmic world after experiencing heartbreak.

It’s a journey of self discovery, and one that’ll see you ride motorbikes and skateboards, shoot lasers, engage in dance battles, and take out enemies with a hefty sword.

If that doesn’t sell you on Sayonara Wild Hearts, I’m not sure what will.

The game originally launched on mobile, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2019, followed by Xbox One in 2020.

Well, now, it’s natively available on PlayStation 5, six years on from its original PlayStation release.

You can take a look at Sayonara Wild Hearts in action below.

That’s right. Annapurna confirmed yesterday that a PlayStation 5 port of Sayonara Wild Hearts is now available and what’s even better is that if you own the game on PlayStation 4, you can get the new-gen upgrade for free.

The updated version can reportedly support an impressive 120fps and 4K graphics, while new DualSense controller features have been added.

The upgrade also comes with a new game mode called Remix Arcade - and yes, this is exclusive to the PS5 edition.

The description reads, “Speed through infinitely replayable levels and chase high scores in random sound bites, all with no loading.”

If you don’t already have the base game to nab the free upgrade, worry not.

The PlayStation 5 version of Sayonara Wild Hearts will set you back just $12.99 / £7.99.

That’s a steal so please, do give this game a whirl.

With a runtime of around nine or so hours for a full 100% completion playthrough, it shouldn’t take up too much of your time.
