PlayStation 5 players desperately want one of its best free game’s to get a sequel, or an expansion.
While PlayStation already boasts some jaw-dropping exclusives like The Last Of Us, God Of War: Ragnarok and the spectacular Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, an unexpected exclusive is being praised as one of the best games the PS5 has to offer.
Check out Marvel's Spider-Man 2 below, one of the best-selling games on PS5 right now
It’s a game that’s completely free, not even requiring a PlayStation Plus membership, and it’s none other than Astro’s Playroom.

Astro’s Playroom is a free game bundled in with every PS5, and essentially acts as a tech demo to show off everything the new-gen console is capable of, including all the impressive DuelSense controller features. It plays like a 3D platformer, and is also full of collectable PlayStation memorabilia, like old-school consoles, games and accessories.
To say it’s only a taste of what the PS5 can offer, some players are saying it’s “one of the best underrated games” they’ve ever played, like aaebrownguy on Reddit who made a post praising the experience.
Other players jumped at the chance to admire the silly little robot game, many of whom want to see more games starring Astro in the future.
One player shared a wholesome story about playing their game with their family, saying “To this day, my kids play it all the time. Each of them have all played through multiple times and it was the most played game on our PS5 this year… and we’ve had our PS5 since 2021.”

Another added how they “wish they’d do a full game of Astro,” as while Astro’s Playroom has the quality, it’s somewhat lacking in quantity, often taking around three hours to beat, five if you’re going for all the collectables and secrets.
Finally one praised the way it teaches the console user about all the features their shiny new PS5 includes, saying it’s a “perfect introduction to the PS5. It’s an amazing pack-in game.”
If you’re to play Astro’s Playroom what are you waiting for? It should be pre-installed on your PS5.
