A couple of new updates are here for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and they bring some much-needed changes, while also addressing representation.
There isn't a lot in the patch notes for the recent two patches for Marvel's Spider-man 2, but what is there will make for some smoother playing experiences and some visual changes after fans spotted a mistake.
Insomniac did a great job with the Spidey sequel and are supporting it post-release
A major part of the most recent update was a change to a flag that was shown in Miles Morales' apartment, where the Cuban flag was shown instead of the Puerto Rican flag. Insomniac have addressed this directly saying "Today's patch corrects an error where the Cuban flag was incorrectly displayed instead of the Puerto Rican flag. We understand that accurate representation matters, and greatly regret this error. We sincerely apologize and will do better in the future."

Also part of this patch they have addressed an issue where the models would not load properly after long play sessions, along with the generic "improved stability." Personally, I've experienced three or four crashes, so hopefully the stability is in a much better place for players.
In the previous patch, Insomniac did a wonderful job of adding in some quality of life features such as auto healing when the focus bar is full, plus a high contrast colour for the perfect dodge to "improve visual clarity."
For a game with plenty of accessibility features the developer set to add two more by adding in options for vibration settings, plus the ability to tweak the controller speaker. It seems Insomniac are very quick to act, given that the game hasn't been out for long and they're already answering the communities queries.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has impressed many and sold by the truckload, and it seems like the game is only going to keep getting better with time.
