I’m still not quite over the fact that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 isn’t set to receive any DLC.
Anyone who’s played the game’s side quests will know just how well Carnage, Chameleon, and the Spider Verse were set up.
It was expected that those three strands would be followed up in a three-part DLC, akin to what we had with the first game and The City That Never Sleeps expansion.

That theory was basically confirmed during the major Insomniac Games leak.
It’s also likely because of this leak that the DLC was cancelled.
We can only hope that the material is somehow incorporated into the third mainline game.
In the meantime, I’m afraid there’s only one measly offering to be found for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 fans.

The Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack is finally now free on the PlayStation Store.
PlayStation fans will be able to dive into LEGO Horizon Adventures this week. Take a look at the game in action below.
Made in partnership with charity Gameheads, the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack includes a suit for Peter, a suit for Miles, 10 Photo Mode stickers, as well as two Photo Mode frames.

It was previously a paid DLC, raising money for Gameheads, but has now been made free for all as promised.
The suit designs are pretty, well, out there and certainly don’t appeal to all tastes.
Throw in the ongoing disappointment over the cancelled DLC, and Spidey fans aren’t having the greatest of times.
“They can keep it,” wrote Reddit user Renflowku.

“I’ll always appreciate a message, but … I’m sorry, I think these suits look awful,” added kushpeshin while a slightly happier showmethenoods said, “It’s for a good cause, I like it.”
As for when Peter and Miles will return, it remains unclear.
It’s believed that Insomniac will release Marvel’s Wolverine next, but there hasn't been an update on that game since its reveal in 2021.
Let’s hope we’re in for a prosperous few years.
