While it once again delivers an incredible main story, a stunning recreation of Manhattan, now joined by other New York locations like Queens and Brooklyn, and more spider-suits than you can shoot a web at, one aspect of the game is dropping jaws everywhere, the speed.
Insomniac Games has updated the way the Spider-Men can travel through the city, adding all sorts of bells and whistles to make the entire experience more dynamic and expressive than ever before, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans.
Reddit user mobyvg22 shared some of their gameplay in a post titled: “The speed of this game should be illegal.” The video showed them swinging through the streets of Manhattan at a break-neck pace and perfectly showcases the huge upgrade traversal has gotten since the first game, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Safe to say it took the fan’s breath away, many of which were astounded by just how fast you can really go once you’ve mastered the game’s movement.
