Horizon: Zero Dawn is reportedly getting some sort of LEGO collaboration, which an official announcement expected any day now.

LEGO has partnered up with a wide variety of IPs over the years for real-life sets and video games, from Marvel to Sonic The Hedgehog, the Harry Potter series and Star Wars, there are very few franchises the company hasn’t touched yet.

Take a look at Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, available now on PC

However a slightly weird collaboration supposedly on the way is LEGO Horizon: Zero Dawn, as leakers have stated a new set or game could be announced very soon.

Now this wouldn’t be the first time, as you can already buy a LEGO set of the Tall Neck, one of the game’s many robotic dinosaurs that makes a nice shelf-piece for any fan of the series.

Well-known industry insiders Kurakasis and Tom Henderson have both shared rumours that another LEGO Horizon project is on the way, though they’re unsure if it’s another buildable set or a video game adaption.

Henderson recently said in a tweet that there’s apparently a "LEGO Horizon trailer that's ready to go,” so we can hopefully expect that pretty soon if the rumours are true.

As far as speculation goes, it doesn’t seem at all likely that a LEGO Horizon game is on the way, as there are already rumours of a remake of the first game for PS5 circulating which you’d think would take priority. That being said, we'd love to be surprised.

LEGO games have been getting larger and larger in scale with vast open worlds to explore, so adapting Horizon’s wildlands into LEGO format would be pretty cool to see.

In all likelihood, Sony is preparing to show-up some new real-life sets inspired by the game, which is still a welcome announcement, just not the best outcome.
