PlayStation 5 users can download an exclusive update for Hogwarts Legacy, that brings a much needed fix to the game.
The monumental success of Hogwarts Legacy can’t be understated. Not only has it generated over $1 billion across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC consoles, with a Nintendo Switch port on the way, but it’s also making more money than the films it’s based on.

One recent update is actually exclusive to PlayStation 5 users, and fixes one of the games biggest problems… Recently, PlayStation players have been experiencing constant crashes, booting them out of the game at random, with the source of the problem being an error with Hogwarts Legacy’s GPU texture memory.
It’s been causing a lot of frustration amongst players, especially since there was nothing they could do to fix or remedy the issue by themselves, but luckily, Avalanche Software has addressed the problem, and rolled out a patch that should keep the game running smoothly.
Technical issues aside, fans are still devoting hours of their time to the open-world Wizarding World game, whether it be exploring Hogwarts on the hunt for secrets, or modding the game to include new features or alter existing ones.
Many fans are also calling for additional DLC for the game, like a quidditch mode or story expansion. Others are looking further ahead to Hogwarts Legacy 2, pitching ideas for what they’d want to see in a sequel, which is basically inevitable at this point following the game’s commercial success.
