Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has finally landed on PlayStation 5, and after reading multiple rave reviews, I know I'm pretty excited to explore with Cloud, Barret, and my imaginary gf Tifa.
Here at GAMINGbible, we awarded Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a rare perfect score, hailing it as a "triumphant evolution" for the beloved RPG.
You can take a look at our video review below!
"The game’s final hours are some of the best gaming moments I’ve experienced in recent years," our own Dan Lipscombe wrote. "From fights that are as cinematic as any blockbuster movie, to quiet moments of emotion that filled my eyes with tears.

"I wanted to reach the conclusion as fast as possible to find out what happened next, and yet I wanted to eke out every minute as I didn’t want my time with these amazing characters to end."
PlayStation 5 owners setting out on this journey for the first time can now claim a new, free digital collectible via the PlayStation Stars rewards scheme. It's maybe not the most exciting freebie you'll ever get your hands on, but it's a nice way to celebrate the launch of a great new RPG. To claim your free digital trophy - a replica of Cloud's iconic Buster Sword - you just need to boot up Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. That's it.
If you don't currently have the game but would like to get this freebie for your collection, it looks like it's still possible to claim the Buster Sword if you load up the free Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo currently available via the PlayStation Store. As a note, you may need to uninstall and redownload the demo to meet the PlayStation Stars criteria and unlock the sword. I suppose the question is how much effort are you willing to put in to claim a virtual sword? That's really your call.
