Without question, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the best and most gorgeous fantasy RPGs of all time but this remaster takes the beloved classic to a new level.
When CD Projekt RED first released The Witcher 3 in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, aside from some launch bugs that were quickly ironed out, it soon went on to become an absolute classic as indicated by its Metacritic score of 92.

In early 2022, CD Projekt RED announced that it has a few games in the works including the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, a remake of the original Witcher game from 2007 and The Witcher 4 powered by Unreal Engine 5.
However, we have no idea as to when each of the upcoming games will be released but it might be safe to assume that we could be waiting a few years at least. That prospect has resulted in fans roasting a teaser for The Witcher 4.
Thankfully, while we patiently wait for the arrival of The Witcher 4, we can still enjoy the third numbered entry which looks extra swanky on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S due to its free new-gen update.
Yet, as gorgeous as The Witcher 3 looks on current-gen consoles, PC gamers have the added benefit of mod support, which not only adds new content to the game but can make it look more gorgeous than ever before.

As showcased by the YouTube channel, Digital Dreams in a stunning gameplay video, The Witcher 3 has never looked better in a glorious 8K resolution at 60 frames-per-second.
What’s more, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 shines up the fantasy RPG extra nicely with some incredibly impressive ray tracing lighting and reflections.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
