The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will see you, well, hunting down monsters and creatures born straight from mythology but imagine if you could use those creatures to aid you in battle.
When Geralt of Rivia isn’t tracking down surrogate daughter Ciri, he can be seen using his Witcher abilities to battle all manner of monsters across The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s expansive open-world map.

However, one creator has imagined a world where Geralt can optimise some skills taken straight from Pokémon in order to capture his prey. However, how he does this is a slight bit darker than capturing our furry friends in a little ball.

Trophy Necromancy by FreakVIp on Nexus Mods allows Geralt to wield the power of necromancy to be able to turn his defeated prey into combat companions.
“Embrace the mighty dark magic!” the modder announces.
To activate this ability, Geralt will have to obtain a book titled Necromancy, The Forbidden Magic and once completed, he will be able to equip it in his Quick Slot, allowing him to begin casting the dark magic.
With the book equipped in one Quick/Accessory slot and the trophy in the other, Geralt will be able to summon the spirit of the trophy and gain its help in battle.

“All trophy summoned creatures are started from level one, from their baby phase, and can be levelled up by killing foes together with Geralt in combat, earning experience to become bigger and stronger, and they have the max level same with Geralt's current level,” the official instructions read.
“All creatures use separate levels so you need to choose which you want to spend time to train and use in combat.”
This Pokémon inspired mod is free to download for those who own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC.
