Red Dead Redemption 2 fans quietly add new map expansion for you to explore

The perfect place to relax

As with any open-world title, sometimes just taking the time to explore the world will be rewarding enough with developers such as Rockstar filling its games with realism at every turn.

This sentiment definitely applies to Red Dead Redemption 2 as many fans will agree that it offers one of the best and most expansive open-world maps in video game history.

Refresh your memory with a look at the Red Dead Redemption 2 launch trailer below!

Set across a fictionalised version of a 19th century Western, Midwestern and Southern United States, Red Dead Redemption 2 is full to the brim with exploration opportunities from the highest mountains to the lowest valleys.

However, nestled amongst these vast expanses are bustling villages, one of which includes the mining town of Annesburg.

Complete with frequent freight trains and a thick layer of fog, Annesburg is a memorable location to say the least and this brand-new mod gives players yet another reason to visit.

Annesburg Saloon Interior was created by KristianD3 over on Nexus Mods and aims to add a brand-new bar and accompanying interior to the town.

Known as the Midnight Beer Hall, the description reads as follows:

“Tucked away in the loud mining town of Annesburg lies the Midnight Beer Hall, a once-forgotten cornerstone of the town's history.

Originally closed after a devastating fist fight during the 1880s, the bar has been reopened, offering weary miners and curious travelers a place to wet their whistle and swap tales of the frontier.”

Annesburg Saloon Interior introduces a brand-new interior to a “previously overlooked area” as well as a fully-functional and custom bartender who serves both food and drink.

In an attempt to capture Rockstar’s unique style, this modder has definitely achieved that and this free download can be added to any Red Dead Redemption 2 version on PC.

However, it is only available for the base game and not Red Dead Online.

Despite being uploaded just last week, this mod already has over 600 unique downloads so it is definitely worth adding to your game to add even more realism to the Rockstar hit.
