Red Dead Redemption 2 free expansion totally overhauls Valentine

Red Dead Redemption 2 free expansion totally overhauls Valentine

Be my Valentine

Just when you thought the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 couldn't get more vibrant, along comes a modder and makes the game look even more gorgeous.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is approaching seven years old and even when being played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it’s still one of the most gorgeous games today. So, can you imagine how extra gorgeous it could look if Rockstar Games actually gave us a modern remaster or even a new-gen update?

Check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer below!

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the epic tale of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the infamous Van der Linde gang, on the run across America at the dawn of the modern age,” reads the synopsis of the game.

While it doesn't seem like Rockstar Games will be giving us that long-awaited remaster or new-gen update any time soon on consoles, PC gamers can enjoy the fruits of labour provided by its talented modding community.

One such mod is created by YGBRO called ‘Valentine Expanded and Revamped Nature Edition’ and this mod, which is available to download for free via Nexusmods, pretty much does what it says on the tin.

“This mod brings more plant life to Valentine and more,” reads the brief description of the mod. What’s more, YGBRO has vowed to enhance and remake each town/city in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now that’s some commitment but an awesome one if it comes to fruition.

So while we wait to see what else YGBRO brings to the already lush Western world of Red Dead Redemption 2, why not support this talented modder by downloading this fantastic addition today?

As is the nature of most mods, this one is a PC exclusive, sadly. Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, and is backwards compatible on modern consoles.
