As exciting as it is that Grand Theft Auto VI is finally on the way, I’m sure I’m not alone in craving new Red Dead content.
Yes, last year’s remastered Red Dead Redemption was a welcomed surprise but I don’t think it’s criminal to say that it didn’t quite scratch the itch.
PC players appear to have it best. Their content drought will seemingly soon be put to an end as it's rumoured that Red Dead Redemption is set to finally land on PC, 14 years after launch.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, there’s also the fact that PC players can experiment with mods.
Those who have Red Dead Redemption 2 installed on PC can change the base game in ways that us console players could only ever dream of.
From new quests to locations, mods offer it all. Today, I want to highlight one exciting project which actually seeks to restore some of Red Dead Redemption 2’s cut dialogue.
Take a look at some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below.
This mod project is the work of NexusMods user Oxydine and it’s titled ‘Restored Ped Dialogue’.

“Peds were supposed to recognise you're a Van Der Linde gang member based on your fame level, a feature that got removed from the final game,” the description reads.
“The lines are still in the files so I restored them. They will say things like, ‘You're one of Dutch's boys’, spontaneously or when you greet them.”
It’s by no means a life-changing mod but it’s a nice alteration that provides insight into what hit the cutting room floor during Rockstar’s development.
The mod “also adds a ‘flirt’ line for female NPCs,” but there are a few conditions.

You cannot be muddy, bloody, or strangely dressed. Dress to impress, as they say.
The mod is available to download now from NexusMods, totally for free.
