Rockstar’s New Years celebrations are still in full swing throughout January, giving Red Dead Redemption 2 players the chance to earn some limited-time goodies.

To celebrate the arrival of 2025, Rockstar has been running its New Year event for Red Dead Online players and for this week only, those heading to the frontier can earn themselves a rare piece of treasure.

“With a new year underway, the time is right to step outside of traditional routines and boundaries to explore in search of opportunity,” its blog post reads.

As well as Blood Money opportunities, 3X RDO$, Gold, and XP, players can also earn a pair of stylish blue Tied Pants by completing any of the eligible challenges now until 3 February.

Alongside the January opportunities, there are also weekly and monthly challenges to partake in and this week is no different.

Running from January 14 to the 20, players who boot up Red Dead Online and discover three eligible Collectibles will receive the Lake Isabella Treasure Map.

This will be rewarded alongside a reward for 25 Capitale and the blue Manteca Hat.

As for the Lake Isabella Treasure Map, it will, as you can probably guess, locate you to Lake Isabella found in both Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online and once there, you will be able to uncover treasure which you can’t find elsewhere.

The Treasure Map is the second weekly reward to earn with a reward for a free change of appearance being up for grabs last week.

From 21 January to 27, players who reach Rank 20 as a Collector will receive the gray Pelt Half Chaps and 28 January to 3 February will be the Macbay Jacket for those who complete all Collector Daily Challenges two days in a row.

These items are not always available in Red Dead Online so it is worth grabbing them when Rockstar adds them to the online RDR2 component.
