Portal 2 is an undeniably brilliant experience.
Some believe it a “masterpiece”, and having lost hours to the game myself, I have to agree with them.

Even by today’s high standards, the sequel holds up well. Few 13-year-old games can still wow players like this Valve creation.
Still, we rarely say no to seeing our treasured titles restored to their visual glory.

Modder xoxor4d has used the foundations of the NVIDIA RTX modification for the original game to bring Portal 2 up to date.

We’d be lying if we said it runs without issues, however, the problems appear to be minimal from what we’ve seen so far.
Not ignoring the fact it looks even more stunning than it did before. And arguably “more menacing” too.

As the YouTuber states, though, xoxor4d deserves all the credit for this mod.

Granted, it’s a brighter experience than what this modder has created, but it’s still an exceptional game.
