PC users will be able to play a free remaster of a beloved RPG this month, and you’ll be able to jump in even sooner than you’d think.
There are a lot of RPGs worth playing nowadays, but then again, it's hard not to boot up Baldur’s Gate 3 for another playthrough ... so perhaps we're not admiring as wide of a range as we should.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is still getting updated too, and while post-launch support is nearing its end, the game definitely isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
If you’re looking for a new RPG to sink your teeth into though, this one might be for you as Blade & Soul NEO launches on 25 February.

Blade & Souls NEO is a remaster of Blade & Soul, a popular role-playing game that sees players create a character, choosing forms of several classes, before hopping online and doing missions.
It’s a bit outdated nowadays, which is where the remaster comes in to elevate the experience and provide both quality-of-life improvements and expansions to the gameplay.
Now if you think that’s worth checking out, you can wait for its launch date later this month or you can be in with the chance to jump in a bit sooner to get prepared for the big day.
The roadmap says you can pre-download the game from 11 February, and then on 18 February, the character customisation menu will become available, giving you a couple of days to put together your creation and make sure you’re happy with it. Then it’s just a case of waiting until launch day.
Advert
For those who want some extra customisation options, you can pay money for some cosmetic packs, but these aren’t necessary and the game itself is still free-to-play.
Once again Blade & Soul NEO launches on PCs on 25 February, so if you’re looking for a new one to play this could be it.
