Hands up if you want a free video game and one in particular that is a gorgeous sci-fi adventure. If so, then we have a treat for you.
For better or worse, during a time in which the choice of free-to-play live service games is plenty, that choice can feel a little overwhelming deciding what game should be a priority to take up our precious time.
Check out the Deliver Us Mars trailer below!
However, if you were after a fantastic narrative-driven single-player adventure, the Epic Games Store has you covered. Developed by KeokeN Interactive, Deliver Us Mars is the sequel to the equally fantastic Deliver Us the Moon from 2018. I won’t give any spoilers away, but finishing Deliver Us Mars shouldn't take much longer than 10 hours to see it through to its completion and during that time, you’ll have a story that you’d want to talk about for years to come.
Advert
“Ten years after the Fortuna mission, humanity is closer than ever to extinction,” reads the synopsis for Deliver Us Mars. “After a mysterious distress call from Mars, join the Zephyr and its crew as they journey to the red planet and seek to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward, and with them, ensure the survival of the human race.”
That being said if you haven't played Deliver Us the Moon, then I wholeheartedly recommend playing that first. At the time of writing, it is currently available on PlayStation Plus and it does appear in the Xbox Game Pass library from time to time.
If you want to claim Deliver Us Mars for free with no strings attached other than the requirement of having an Epic Games account, then be sure to grab the game now before time runs out. You have until 30 November to claim the freebie and once claimed, it will remain in your library forever.
Deliver Us the Moon and Deliver Us Mars are available for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
