Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is now playable on PC, though you might want to hold off downloading it for the time being.
It was quite the heartbreak last year when Marvel's Spider-Man 2 missed out on Game Of The Year. Don't get me wrong, while I was very much routing for Spider-Man I can’t deny it wasn’t a well deserved win by Baldur's Gate 3.

The real insult to injury though was the fact the game walked away with no awards at all, but that's alright because PlayStation decided to just award the game itself to round-off the year.

As for where that leaves Spider-Man fans in 2024, there are two camps. PlayStation 5 gamers are patiently waiting for Insomniac Games to drop an update which will add an array of highly-requested features. This includes changing the time of day, unlocking New Game+, changes to suits and so on. However PC players just want to play the game for themselves, and they can finally do that right now, though unofficially I have to add.
A torrent for an unofficial PC version of the game, complete with patches and reshaders is now available online. Now be warned you should always download torrents at your own discretion as you never know what they could have buried away in them, but if you’re eager to play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC as soon as possible this is it.
Surprisingly the port itself is huge compared to its console counterpart. For context, the PS5 version of the game has an install size of around 90GB, whereas this version is 258GB, so if you’re already low on space this might not be the version for you.
If you’d rather wait for Insomniac’s official port of the game there’s unfortunately no release date at the time of writing. Fear not though, it is confirmed for 2024 so you’ll probably be swinging through the streets of New York in no time.
