Hogwarts Legacy recently celebrated its second birthday, although it was one that felt rather underwhelming.
Fair to say, Avalanche Software hasn’t been particularly forthcoming with post-launch content.
Nothing has arrived in the way of DLC, outside of the PlayStation exclusive ‘Haunted Hogsmeade’ quest eventually being made available on other platforms.

That being said, a definitive or director’s cut of the game is reportedly in the works, according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, but that’s yet to be formally announced.
That means that, for now, those of us on console will have to remain patient.
Hogwarts Legacy fans on PC have had a more prosperous time though, as of late.
The game recently welcomed an official PC modding support update and while Hogwarts Legacy did already boast a modding community, it’s one that’s only grown since the update landed.

And so, it’s with that in mind, that I’d thought I’d highlight just a few of the recently created offerings that PC players can now enjoy.
Don’t fancy four playthroughs? Enjoy a tour of all of Hogwarts’ four house common rooms below.
If you hop on over to CurseForge, you’ll find modder Khione95’s ‘Spells Enhanced - New Spells’ which does exactly as you’d expect.

The mod adds eight new spells, and those are reducto (with base game voice line), expulso (with base game voice line), apparition, incendio incantatem (with base game voice line), obliviate, confundo, stupify (free cast version), and petrificus totalus (long range version).
If it’s a new location you seek, modder MTL_LD’s ‘The Flooded Laboratory’ may be the mod for you.
“A slight tremor was felt along the coast, just east of Cragcroft. The Ministry of Magic has sent representatives to investigate, but no one has heard from them or found any news yet,” the description reads.
“For safety, the Headmaster is asking that no students, especially any high level ones, visit the area to investigate or make matters worse. Beware, as unconfirmed sightings of goblins have been reported in the area after dark…”

Yes, you'll be exploring a new goblin-filled dungeon.
You can also download infinitumentllc’s ‘Phoenix Broom’ which, again, is very aptly named.
This one makes it so that you can use a phoenix mount instead of a regular broom, with the mount available to purchase from a newly added vendor.
The creature is fully animated with flapping wings.

Finally, Kione95 features again as ‘NPC Schedule Enhanced’ is a fantastic immersion mod that essentially seeks to make the schedules of the game’s NPCs more realistic.
They’ll attend classes, as well as breakfast and dinner in the Great Hall, whereas at night, it’s professors you’ll see patrolling the hallways.
The mod will also make it so that more professors and students visit Hogsmeade on weekends instead of school days.
They’re subtle tweaks but ones that add to the game’s believability.
These are just a few examples of what’s on offer so venture over to CurseForge and have a browse.
