Hogwarts Legacy is just full of surprises. Currently, a special event is being held that will see a big influx of new content.
After the summer update last year, Hogwarts Legacy fans believed the game would wind down further, essentially offering nothing new save the odd newly discovered secret.
With its latest update triggering a revival of the game, so to speak, fans are once again flocking to the halls of Hogwarts.

Now that modding support has been added to the PC version of the Warner Bros. Games title, players are being given a chance to flex their creative muscles.
A collaboration between Warner Bros. and CurseForge has culminated in the Goblet of Mods Contest.

As the name would suggest, this is all about creating new features for the game through mods, be they cosmetics, worldbuilding, or gameplay.

Not only will you be able to get creative, but there’s also a chance to win a share of $125,000.
Just think of all the Butterbeers you can buy with that.
By holding this special event, the wizarding world is about to become richer for it, with “magical concoctions, magnificent spells, or wondrous beasts”.
Players are encouraged to dig deep when developing these mods, with them able to create customisation extensions, new quests, “inventive gameplay twists” – basically, anything and everything they can think of.

This special event is here for the long haul too, with its weekly prizes section set to continue until 27 March.
As if this wasn’t thrilling enough, there’s also speculation that a DLC is in development.
With the two year anniversary of the game’s release now being celebrated, it would be the prime time to drop a new release.
Even if this shouldn’t come to pass, fans still have plenty of other new content to get to grips with in the coming weeks.
