If all goes well, there is just a few months to go until Grand Theft Auto VI is released.
Well, at least for console as according to an edited statement, it may be a lot longer until we are expected to welcome the highly-anticipated title to PC.
Check out the trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI below!
As we all know, Grand Theft Auto VI is still on track for a fall 2025 release date, at least according to a statement by Take-Two Interactive after its recent earnings call.

However, that fall 2025 release window is related to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S only, meaning that PC users are still eager to find out when the Rockstar title will be coming to the platform.
A recent comment by Corsair’s CEO Andrew Paul suggested that GTA VI could be heading to PC as early as the start of 2026.
"GTA VI is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console,” he said during the company’s Q4 earning’s call.
“My understanding now [is that] it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early ’26 for PC.”

However, that statement has since been debunked as Corsair reached out to IGN to recall Paul’s statement, admitting that the information was speculative and that the company has no knowledge of Rockstar’s plans for a PC release.
It is sad news to say the least and puts us back in the dark when it comes to a potential release.
As for Rockstar’s previous Grand Theft Auto instalment, Grand Theft Auto V, PC players had to wait a staggering 19 months after its console launch to finally get their hands on it so it is no wonder that fans are worried the same thing will happen again.
Unfortunately, neither Rockstar or Take-Two has confirmed a PC release date so all we can do for now is hope that we won’t be seeing a similar delay.
