Fallout fans heartbroken over quiet cancellation

It's the end of the road for one project

The Elder Scrolls VI is deep in development which means that very little attention is being paid to Fallout 5.

It’s unlikely that The Elder Scrolls VI will even land in this console generation, just to give you an idea of how further Fallout 5’s release will be beyond that.

It’s not as if Fallout fans are being starved of content though.

A second season of Prime Video’s hugely successful TV adaptation is on the way, and Fallout 76 is arguably better than it's ever been.

The online spin-off recently unveiled its Gleaming Depths update - and don’t forget that you’ll be able to play as a ghoul from next year.

Of course, the Fallout franchise also boasts an incredible modding community who supply us with plenty of unofficial expansions to titles like Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas.

One such expansion that many of us were eagerly anticipating was Project Mojave, a total conversion mod for Fallout 4.

Unfortunately, the project’s creators have announced its unfortunate cancellation.

We played snog, marry, irradiate with the cast of Prime Video’s Fallout. Take a look below.

Essentially, the mod would’ve recreated New Vegas’ most significant areas in Fallout 4.

In fact, the mod previously launched an early access version giving players access to New Vegas’ strip including three working casinos.

Since then though, Project Mojave’s creators have unveiled that the total conversion mod is just a tad too ambitious.

It’s not all doom and gloom, however.

I mentioned that an early access version of the mod had previously launched. Well, that’s now been replaced with an updated version that’ll serve as the final product.

Available to download from NexusMods, ‘Project Mojave Revitalization Dev Release And Resource’ adds new world spaces, armours, dungeons, and OST tracks, as well as workshop items, so it’s definitely worth checking out even if this mod is a fraction of its planned size.
