Dive into this new story quest

Bethesda simply cannot produce Fallout content fast enough.

Earlier this year, Prime Video’s Fallout TV series debuted, sending video game player counts soaring as fans old and new flocked to the wastelands.

That hype somewhat subsided but plenty of us are still enjoying various entries in the franchise, whether it be Fallout 4 or Fallout 76.

Fallout 4 players recently saw the game’s new-gen update launch, but it didn’t exactly add much in the way of new content.

Fallout 76 fans have fared slightly better with the Skyline Valley expansion.

What we’re all really craving though is Fallout 5. The problem is that Fallout 5 is years away from release.

Bethesda is beavering away on The Elder Scrolls VI and post-launch content for Starfield, so Fallout 5 is likely to be a next-gen game.

In the meantime though, there is a wealth of fan content for players to dive into.

ICYMI: Here’s our guide to getting started in the Fallout franchise.

If you’re playing Fallout 4 on PC, you may want to check out ‘The New Adventures of The Silver Shroud’ mod.

Created by NexusMods user TheModdingGoat, this is a quest mod, adding a new adventure for players.

“When evil walks the streets of Boston, one man lurks in the shadows. Shielding the innocent. Judging the guilty. That guardian is... The Silver Shroud,” teases the synopsis.

“It has been some time since The Sole Survivor has worn the mantle of the marksman of justice, The Silver Shroud! But when a mysterious radio signal contacts them about a job involving the Shroud well...it's time to get dangerous!”

The quest you embark on will feature branching dialogue, scripted boss fights, a custom boss theme, a reimagined Fallout 3 enemy, and is fully voiced.

All in all, it sounds like a great time.

In order to begin the mod, you need to have completed the base game’s Silver Shroud quest.

Then, wait for four days and listen to radio station 19.8. Happy playing!
