The intro to Fallout 3 has been remade using Unreal Engine 5, and it looks so good my eyes are burning.
Fans have been demanding remakes of Bethesda games for years now, with the top three most-desired titles being Fallout: New Vegas, The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Fallout 3.
Unfortunately they’re not getting them anytime soon, as the next game on Bethesda’s release schedule is The Elder Scrolls VI which you can check out below.
It seems some fans are tired of waiting though, some of whom have recreated the intro to Fallout 3 using Unreal Engine 5, and it’s super impressive.

Fallout 3 is a bit of a black-sheep in the Fallout series, as while it was a solid entry and the first game to fully embrace 3D, it was quickly overshadowed by Fallout: New Vegas.
Many fans didn’t vibe with the story and gameplay, believing it hasn’t aged well over the years and isn’t worth a revisit.
That being said I think most Fallout fans would be down to return to the game if it got a full-on remake, especially if it looks as good as the following video.
Created by Julian Uccetta and uploaded to YouTube, the video takes fans through the opening cutscene of the game.
Standout parts of the remake include more detailed and advanced textures, as well as improved lighting, all of which is set to the phenomenal track ‘I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire’ from The Ink Spots.

While there’s no gameplay to accompany it, one can only imagine what a full-on Unreal Engine 5 remake could look like.
The next Fallout game to land in our game libraries will be Fallout 5, and while the game is nowhere near close to entering full development, fans will be expecting an enormous difference in quality compared to Fallout 76.
