Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree launches in a few months time, so why not hone your soulslike skills with this overhaul mod so you’re ready for the challenge?
While Elden Ring is arguably FromSoftware’s most accessible title to date, that doesn’t mean it’s easy. That being said, the game has been out for several years now, and while the DLC isn’t as far away as we once feared, the difficulty has certainly seen a decline as we’ve grown accustomed to the game and mastered our character builds.

If you’re looking for a real challenge before the expansion’s release, look no further than Elden Ring: Convergence, an overhaul mod that adds new weapons, items and some spectacular new bosses.
The one we’re covering today is the Godskin Matriarch, a boss that makes Malenia look like even more of a pushover. She's been having a real bad time ever since Let Me Solo Her started his murder-spree against her.
Players will undoubtedly shudder at that name though, Godskin Matriarch, as the two other Godskin bosses, the Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble, are two of the most annoying bosses in the game, especially the fight that makes the player fight both of them at once. The Godskin Matriarch can be found at the top of the Divine Tower of Liurnia, and can really put the pressure on players with her close-range attacks, many of which are delayed to throw off the timing of your dodges.
She might not hit as hard as Malenia, but she’s just as aggressive and since the arena is smaller than the Haligtree escaping for a breather is made much harder.
If anything Elden Ring: Convergence is great practice for the upcoming DLC, which is said to be a challenge for even the most high-level players out there.
