GOG is one of the industry leaders for preserving games and giving them a new lease of life. While the company does publish new games on their service, the website is jam-packed full of classics that are acclaimed by many.
Among the free games you can play right now are a couple of prologues to some 2022 titles and some brilliant indie gems such as Samorost, Thimbleweed Park and Symphonia.
You can also find Gwent in here, a card game originally created for The Witcher 3, plus several other games that have released in the past few years. Of course, GOG is giving away retro games that many have declared are masterpieces; The RPG series Ultima features on the list, as well as the often lauded Beneath A Steel Sky, a game that revolutionised adventure games in the early 90s.
There are hundreds of hours of great gaming here and many of the games will come with a Steam code, and can be played on Steam Deck.
