Created by the modder Halk Hogan PL, a graphical overhaul mod called Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project is about to receive a brand new update, and it aims to completely change the game as we know it. According to its description, the mod “aims to improve the graphics by reworking game assets to better quality, preserving original art style and good performance,” and the results are outstanding.
Not only does it clean up the graphics to a significant degree, but it also completely overhauls the textures, adding a new level of detail and immersion you wouldn’t find in the base game due to its limitations. The mod is arguably the best Night City and its surrounding areas have ever looked, making it essential for fans wanting to spice up the game’s graphics for the best possible experience.
In an exciting turn of events, Halk Hogan PL is preparing to launch Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project 2.0, which will make even more impressive changes to the way the game looks. A YouTube video showcases some of the added detail that’ll be present in the update, and you can check it out below.
This is just in time for the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty update, with launches in September exclusively for PC and current-gen consoles, meaning the Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
