Every day, in every way, we inch closer towards Bloodborne appearing on our PCs in beautiful clarity.

Many new contenders can come and go, but few, if any, will match the gothic splendour of Bloodborne.

Even now, with no official PC port on the horizon, at least not publicly anyway, we’re still searching this FromSoftware title for secrets.

Recently, players discovered a hidden item we had no idea existed.

This Bloodborne PC port looks fantastic

Can you imagine the new discoveries a PC version of the iconic experience might bring?

Well, such discoveries, and indeed the ability to play Bloodborne on PC, edges ever closer thanks to shadPS4.

Since we first introduced you to this PS4 emulator, the team behind its creation has made a lot of headway.

Each time progress is made, Bloodborne on PC becomes an almost tangible reality.

From what we’ve seen and heard, Bloodborne can run at 200fps.

Considering we had no PC options at the start of the year, this is a huge and extremely promising leap ahead for the project.

Although staggering progress, this is by no means a complete product – more is needed before it meets fans’ expectations.

Nonetheless, the fact that the emulator creators have come so far gives us hope that we may get that PC port before the year is through.

“We are so f**king back,” said YouTube user @FranLorian.

“Getting close! In less than a month we got this and it's freaking insane. Let's go community!” said @SagnolTheGangster.

We’ve become so used to so many false starts that, even now, there’s a part of us that fear this is all some cruel fever dream.

But it’s real.

After all this time, “it is in our grasp”.

If you’ve held off getting excited, now is the time to allow yourselves to give in to that feeling. Embrace the hype because Bloodborne is coming back.
