Uh oh. Baldur’s Gate 3 has been confirmed to have a whopping file size - and you can’t pre-install it.
Last month, it was unveiled that the upcoming Baldur’s Gate 3 will take a very hefty 200 hours to complete according to Larian Studios. That is a full completion time so naturally, if you focus on the main objectives, you should be able to speed that up. Still, it’s hugely exciting to know we have such a massive world to dive into. On top of that, we also know that the game will boast over 17,000 endings. When you consider that last year, The Quarry caused a stir with its 186 endings, this is quite the upstaging. Of course, those 17,000 endings won’t all be drastically different. There’ll be variations included. Clearly though, so many of us are excited to dive into Baldur’s Gate 3 - but it’s going to take some time on release day before we can actually do that.
Take a look at the trailer for Baldur’s Gate 3 below.
Larian Studios have confirmed that Baldur’s Gate 3 has a 122GB file size, yikes. Not only is that going to cause a whopping dent in your device storage, you also won’t be able to pre-install the game. Yes, that means on release day, you’re going to have to patiently (or impatiently) wait for it to install.
