A huge mod has released for Assassin's Creed Unity that players say has overhauled the game. Unity was already held in high regard by players due to its parkour and story, but now, it's even better.
When this instalment of the popular franchise was first released by Ubisoft, it was sadly filled with bugs and issues. It didn't stop the game being picked up and appreciated by fans though. Some years on from its release, modders have produced a mod that fixes many quality of life problems, overhauling the game.
The latest Assassin's Creed game, Mirage, has taken players to Baghdad.
The mod in question is 'ACUFixes', which kind of says it all. It's a mod filled with fixes that tweak various aspects of the game, including less sticky cover, which makes it easier to move in and out of cover, catching nearby ledges will allow for smoother parkour, and you can now aim bombs while peeking from behind cover.

This small team came together and changed things that players have asked for for years. Patches from Ubisoft never helped, but now you can play it perhaps how it was meant to be played.
Some more features from the mod include being able to enter windows while climbing, which was introduced in Assassin's Creed Syndicate; you can also now control slow and auto walk on keyboard, which will please some of the true stealth lovers.
For many, this is a great excuse to go back and visit the streets of Paris again. At the time, Paris was a wonderful area to explore and was, much like many Assassin's Creed titles, lovingly created and truly beautiful. Unity was one of the final 'proper' Assassin's Creed games before Ubisoft took a detour and leaned into more RPG mechanics and more action for the 'RPG-trilogy'.
