If there's one thing I know, it's that The Legend Of Zelda is one of the greatest series in all of video games. Okay, so it's also my favourite, but that doesn't stop the first part from remaining true.
Out of every game in Nintendo’s iconic library, The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time looms large for so many, even 25(!) years after its first hit the Nintendo 64.
To this day The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remains the highest-rated games of all time, earning universal acclaim with an unheard of critical score of 99, as well as a user score of 9.0. One suspects the game would have been review bombed over the Shiek reveal were it released today.

Outside of an excellent 3DS remake back in 2011, Zelda fans have had to treat a next-gen remake of Ocarina Of Time as nothing more than a dream. However, one dedicated fan has been working in Unreal Engine for years to make that dream come true, and now the latest version is free for you to download and play.
CryZENx has just dropped the latest build of their ongoing Ocarina Of Time Unreal Engine 5 remake, and this one contains all the various levels and areas they've built this year. I should stress this is not the full game, but you can explore a bunch, fight enemies, use a few items, and speak to NPCs. If you fancy a gut-punch of nostalgia, it's absolutely worth checking out.
A full guide for how to download and install the project can be found right here, so feel free to dive back into Hyrule and marvel at the incredible work CryZENx has done. Now if Nintendo could just give us an official remake on the Switch 2, I could die happy.
