It appears that the Nintendo Switch 2 has been glimpsed in a leaked trailer from an accessory company called Satisfye.
The company, which makes peripherals and Joy-Con grips, seems to have shown the fabled Switch 2 in a trailer which has since been swiftly deleted.
Will the Switch 2 look radically different to its predecessor?
Of course, Reddit got their hands on the news, as did Twitter, and the comments have been hilarious.

“It looks like..... Gasp… A Nintendo Switch,” said one Redditor.
Another agreed, saying, “Ah yes, the Switch 2 looks like a Switch.”
Let’s be honest, the Switch 2 was never going to diverge too far from the Nintendo Switch, which is already considered a perfect console.
The last time Nintendo revamped a sequel console - the WiiU - it flopped terribly and created a lost generation of games.

“Lol I expected similar but wow it's similar,” said CarlosAlvarados.
This was followed up by a mention of the WiiU by RJE808 who says, “I can't blame them. This is their first system with a similar name since the Wii U, I can't blame them for playing it safe.”
One Reddit user targeted the old adage ‘if it ain’t broke’, by saying, “Well, don’t fix what wasn’t broken…except the Joy-Cons…and the eShop.”
Over on Twitter, one fan has a nice theory that I’m enjoying, “Watch them call it the Switch II with the 2 as Roman numerals represented by the Joy-Cons.”

While a radical new design would be interesting to talk about, I think we’re past the point of Nintendo bringing in new gimmicks.
They’ve created the ideal console, bringing players a hybrid way to experience games we didn’t even know we needed.
I can’t see them shifting from that, and what more could you really do with the system? Aside, maybe adding a slide-out second screen?
Hopefully an official announcement is around the corner, maybe at The Game Awards.
