However, with the Nintendo Switch 2 soon on the way, fans are already speculating as to how it can improve on an already great piece of hardware.
According to Famiboards members LiC and LuigiBlood, the Nintendo Switch 2 will come with a 60W charge and a cooler found inside the dock.
The charger, whose technology is found in modern day mobile phone and laptops, is believed to be able to reach higher clock speeds as well as allowing the hardware to charge at a much faster rate.
This information was discovered courtesy of datamined exchanges between Nintendo and NVIDIA and with the use of GaN technology, the charger will be able to easily overpower its Nintendo Switch counterpart.

Not only that but data from manufacturer Delta Electronics alludes to a new cooler which will be smaller and go alongside the one already present in current consoles.
With the Nintendo Switch 2 reportedly featuring a NVIDIA T239 chip, 8GB RAM, 64GB storage space and now a much improved battery and charging life, it is shaping up to be a big improvement on its predecessor.
Additionally, it is believed games will be able to hit an impressive 120fps thanks to the handheld’s display having a refresh rate of 120Hz.
For now, Nintendo is keeping its cards close to its chest when it comes to the Nintendo Switch 2 but if the rumours are to be believed, you are not going to want to miss out on this one.
