As we get closer and closer to a Nintendo Switch 2 announcement, it seems clear that Nintendo is focusing on its fans and future games for them.
As reported recently by PR Brazil, the Nintendo Switch console is due to get a batch of remasters and remakes from third-party developers as Nintendo concentrates on the follow up console.
Driver is reportedly making a comeback via a remaster that will likely see a Switch release.
In the report, Brazil specifically mentions that this shift to remasters is to ensure that players on Nintendo Switch have a batch of new games to play while Nintendo moves their focus.

On the list are titles such as Driver and Driver 2, as well as Splinter Cell: Blacklist, both from Ubisoft.
Ubisoft, a frequent collaborator with Nintendo will also oversee Rayman 3 and two unreported titles.
EA will be focusing on “more games from the Wii”, while Bandai Namco is reportedly heading up remastering some PS3 classics that will likely be multiformat.
While this may excite Nintendo fans, it’s worth noting that this change doesn’t mean the Switch 2 is any closer.
