The Nintendo Switch 2 may not have been officially revealed yet but thanks to a myriad of leaks, we have a pretty solid idea of what the successor could look like.
It has been seven years since the Nintendo Switch was released and thanks to the latest Nintendo handheld, we have gained some epic titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and of course, the occasional new Pokémon entry.
Let's go back to where it all began with the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer!
However, as with all modern technology these days, it is time for an upgrade and Nintendo is set to reveal the Nintendo Switch successor in early 2025.

Until then, it is remaining tight-lipped about the Nintendo Switch 2 but with fans eager to hear more, the internet leakers have been busy over recent months.
Now thanks to a mysterious “Chinese source”, a 3D mock-up of the upcoming handheld has been sent to YouTuber SwitchUp.
“DISCLAIMER: This is a 3D PRINTED non-functional device sent to us from a Switch 2 case manufacturer in China,” the video description reads.
“We are looking at the device and comparing it to the current Switch console as well as the Steam Deck and giving some thoughts on the feel and layout.”

In the almost 14-minute video, we get a look at the Switch 2 mock-up and although it looks pretty similar to the Nintendo Switch OLED, its main difference is its size.
The suspected Nintendo Switch 2 (if this mock-up is legit) will be a lot bigger than its previous model and as you can imagine, potential fans had some thoughts.
Taking to r/GamingLeakdAndRumours, talk soon turned to SwitchUp’s video.
“Once again, it is genuinely so funny that we know everything from the form factor to the internal specs. And yet, we're all salivating at the idea of games,” user DarkWorld97 wrote.

“Screen is huge and doesn't give me much hope for battery life,” Sky-HighSundae added.
It seems as though the general consensus is that fans care more about the Nintendo Switch 2’s potential games more than the console itself.
Hopefully, we will find out more about the titles arriving when Nintendo officially reveals its next handheld early next year.
In the meantime, continue to take all leaks with a pinch of salt.
