If you are anything like me, then you will love customising your belongings, even your digital ones.
That is why the latest batch of customisation by Nintendo for its Nintendo Switch is not one to miss out on.
Check out the trailer for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope below!
The Nintendo Switch has been home to some incredible titles over its lifespan such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and multiple Mario titles, of course.

Now as a way to show off our love for these franchises, Nintendo is offering Switch owners the chance to redeem multiple icons which can be used as profile pictures for your online account.
Available from now until 30 September, those eligible can choose between icons which show off characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad and more.
Although these are not as exciting as dynamic themes or customisable home screens, it is still something to make our profiles stand out and will hopefully be just the start of possible customization for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
The icons can be purchased using one of Nintendo’s free currencies known as Platinum Coins and can be found on the Nintendo Switch home screen.

Simply head to the Nintendo Switch Online tab, then Missions and Rewards and finally you can pick your icon after spending between 5-10 Platinum Coins.
As mentioned, these icons will only be available for a limited time before they are cycled out and it remains to be seen which game will be represented next.
It could be The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom which is set to release on 26 September or even Super Mario Party Jamboree, the next Mario entry which is expected to launch on 17 October.
As for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, our very own Ewan Moore called it “a masterful quest” in his preview.

“The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom is shaping up to be everything I’d hoped it would be,” he wrote.
“Brand new and warmly familiar all at once, this is a game that’s groaning under the weight of smart ideas and surprising mechanics.”
