Nintendo just dropped a huge freebie for all you GameCube lovers out there, and fans of games featuring Mario’s slightly taller brother are in for a real treat.
Thank you in advance to Nintendo Life's Liam Doolan for the original source!
There’s been a lot of (deserved) negativity surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2 as of late, but, credit where credit is due, there is one pretty massive reason to get excited for the upcoming console.

As revealed during the Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers will have access to a whole bunch of classic GameCube titles on the Nintendo Switch 2 at launch.
For the time being, it seems the ones we’ll be able to play on day one (thank you to Polygon for the list) are The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, F-Zero GX and Soulcalibur 2.
However, they did tease several more games for the service in the future. One of the games teased was Luigi’s Mansion, and it seems Nintendo is keen to get the hype building for its arrival on the Nintendo Switch 2 early.
That’s because, as of today, you can now listen to the entirety of the Luigi's Mansion soundtrack through the Nintendo Music app. If you’re already a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriber, all of the tracks on Nintendo Music are free.

I should note, I’m sort of assuming this is the entire Luigi’s Mansion soundtrack. That’s because, as Liam Doolan notes in their article, there are 73 individual tracks for the game available through Nintendo Music, which totals a runtime of 56 minutes.
Hopefully, the soundtrack’s inclusion on the Nintendo Music means that Luigi’s Mansion might be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 a lot sooner than we expected.
After all, GameCube games go for a pretty penny these days, so this is officially the cheapest way to play them (legally). Not sure if that takes the edge off the whole $80 games thing though…
