I’ll admit, I’ve never played Fortnite. I know, you should tar and feather me now. But you see, thanks to LEGO Fortnite, a mode being called the best LEGO game to date, I’m seriously tempted to play a game that’s never interested me. That’s when you know the devs have struck gold.
It’s not just me tempted by this partnership, plenty of other gamers are too. As for those already playing it, they’ve got nothing but praise for Fortnite’s decision to embrace a world of colourful blocks. “How did they randomly drop the best LEGO game to date?” asked one player, while showcasing a glorious screenshot of their character.
How amazing does LEGO Fortnite look in the gameplay trailer?
Responding to the OP, another player revealed that they’d played the LEGO mode to simply test the waters, only to lose hours to the game. “Downloaded Fortnite for the rocket race tomorrow, [and] decided to try this mode for a bit and ended up spending hours in it,” They continued, “Absolutely mind-blowing. Epic really went above and beyond creating this; calling it a mode is an extreme understatement, this is an entirely different game inside Fortnite.”

Did I already mention how tempted I am by this new mode? Each comment just increases that curiosity.
This isn’t the first big win by Fortnite, though, they recently made fans laugh out loud at Peter Griffin’s in-game death, with the animation throwing back to a well-known meme. In all honesty, Fortnite smashes it more times than it doesn’t, with this latest season packing one hell of a punch as it keeps going from strength to strength.
Is it any wonder that Fortnite player numbers hit over 100 million in November? We think not. And now that LEGO Fortnite is here, that number is destined to grow. Should you want to add to the growing numbers, you can play Fortnite on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As one fan reminds us, “Fortnite gets a lot of sh*t, mostly because of the player base, but so much of its hate is unwarranted. The game is a ton of fun and is always trying something new.”
