The upcoming Xbox exclusive is being co-developed by Bethesda and MachineGames, best known for Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and so far, we’ve got no idea what it’ll be like, just that it’s announced and on the way.
Recently, Todd Howard sat down for an interview with Esquire to talk Starfield, the journey so far, the ups, the downs, and more importantly, the future. Towards the end of the interview, the focus shifted from the latest space-faring title to the Indiana Jones game, and while Howard clearly didn’t want to share too many details, he did briefly touch on the game.
Speaking about the upcoming title, Howard said: “I am a giant Indiana Jones fan. It can be brought to video games in a unique way … The game is obviously: you’re exploring stuff. It’s about him. So if you’re playing the game, how do you feel that you are indeed playing versus just watching?”
Unfortunately, those were the only, slightly cryptic, details Howard was willing to share, though he did hint at when we might see a full reveal of the game when he closed off with: "We’ll talk next year."

This potentially suggests a reveal will happen during next year’s Xbox Showcase, which Bethesda will obviously be part of following their acquisition.
The Indiana Jones game currently has no release window, but will launch exclusively for Xbox and PC platforms.
