Hogwarts Legacy players convinced Chamber Of Secrets DLC is coming

Hogwarts Legacy fans still think there’s a chance the Chamber Of Secrets DLC will be released.

Despite its overwhelming success, earning more money than the Harry Potter films it's based on, Hogwarts Legacy has had no DLC expansions whatsoever.

It has had updates, but mostly ones that fix bugs, introduce quality-of-life improvements or a few more cosmetic options, but nothing substantial or about expanding the game’s world or story.

While most fans have had their fun with the game and moved on, waiting for news on Hogwarts Legacy 2, many are likely still holding out hope for DLC, believing an expansion about the Chamber of Secrets is still a possibility.

Reddit user KamuiGaming certainly thinks so, sharing a post with the community saying: “Who Else Thinks the Chamber of Secrets Will Feature in a DLC? So I believe that the Chamber of Secrets is going to be the main plot for a potential DLC for this game. Not only do we have multiple references to the chamber, we also have a Gaunt at Hogwarts during this time period, who is related to Lord Voldemort himself.”

They also brought up sightings of what looked like a Basilisk slithering around the Slytherin common room, which was shared when the game first came out. Unfortunately, after closer inspection, it was determined it was a squid NPC glitching through the walls.

While fans said they’d love to see the Chamber Of Secrets in the game, many doubt it’ll ever be featured as DLC, especially since its main attraction, the Basilisk, is canonically asleep during the events of Hogwarts Legacy.

“I don't know how interesting it would be without fighting the basilisk, which they obviously can't really do.”

So many months after release, it’s likely the developers have moved on, hopefully to Hogwarts Legacy 2, though it’s more than likely the next game will expand the world in a much more significant way than DLC could.
