Players are always fascinated by what can be found ‘out of bounds’ in video games. These are areas hidden behind or underneath 3D assets in the game.
One Hogwarts Legacy player has been exploring around the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets and found an interesting area hidden beneath it.
During the summer update to Hogwarts Legacy players got a huge dollop of new stuff to do
Of course, the Harry Potter world is filled with little details designed to impress and please fans of the franchise, but we’re talking about an area that cannot easily be found.

Over on Reddit, a fan called partyvaper showed a video of them exploring around the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets using ‘in-game noclip’ which allows you to see behind assets.
You can see there’s a large textured box sitting underneath the area, and it goes down quite a way.
The original poster attempted to explore further and updated the thread, though it’s still not definite why the box exists.
They posted, “Explored further somewhere at the bottom is the Underground Harbor, also very close to all of it. I think if there is anything there, there would be a "teleport/portal/gate" to a completely different location, like entering caves etc.”

Another fan posts a possible theory, and it’s a simple one, “The box below the sink is simply there to prevent players from seeing the out-of-bounds portions of the map through the grate.”
These design tricks are often used to flesh out an area without having to design full rooms or details, so the second Redditor is likely spot on with their thoughts.
This has prompted others to wonder what else the game could be hiding, with one suggesting, “I'm very curious if there's anything behind the Werewolf Tapestries.”
Another fan jokingly comments, “Now see, if I were a programmer I'd expect someone to do this. I'd have tossed a basilisk in there that would KO you in one hit.”

Now that I’d like to see.
