Hogwarts Legacy is filled with wonder and mystery, some of which are seemingly hinting at DLC.
Maybe we’re naively getting our hopes up here, but after a Hogwarts Legacy player discovered a hidden area only partially finished, it’s raised questions about its purpose.
Is it merely a remnant of cut content or is it intended for upcoming quests yet to be announced?

Magic is everywhere in Hogwarts Legacy, you just need to know where to look
Although fans are already in agreement that the free DLC already available is one of the game’s best stories, we can’t help but wonder if this secret might eventually knock it off the top spot.
Assuming it is anything more than forgotten leftovers.

On Reddit, a fan revealed, “[I] stumbled upon this interesting little unused area of a grotto. I can't recall seeing this in any other part of the game.”
It’s important to point out here that the OP happened upon this hidden area by entering “ghost mode”.
“I’ve nearly lost my mind searching for the part of the grotto in which I can explore this house,” admitted another player. “I’m playing on PS and just came to the conclusion that maybe only PC gamers can access it. I’m so jealous!”
Alas, PC players have a flexibility us mere console gamers can only dream of.

Still, while they used the advantages of being a PC gamer to enter this mysterious part of the game, it still doesn’t answer the biggest question of all: what does it all mean?
True, it could be just an “unused area”, however, we’re clinging to the hope that the devs are going to bestow magic unto us before they call time on the game.
Fans aren’t exactly chomping at the bit for Hogwarts Legacy 2 following recent announcements. Consequently, they need something to cling onto; a semblance of hope.
This grotto find could be that, or it could just be a tease that leads to nowhere.

That’s the risk you take when exploring forbidden areas, dear students. Next time, you might lose some House Points; you’ve been warned.
