GTA VI players on PC are preparing for their worst, as it's almost inevitable they won't be able to play it at launch.
After a disappointing October with no GTA VI trailer, fans are losing hope that Rockstar Games will drop something this year.

It's believed the actual release date for the game will be sometime during Spring 2025, meaning a gameplay reveal will likely appear next year, much to the dismay of fans.
The disappointment doesn't end there either, as PC players are concerned the game will be a limited-time console exclusive, launching on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and beyond, before eventually arriving on PC.
It wouldn't be the first time either, as Rockstar seemingly always releases its games on PC after it's been available on console for a certain amount of time. Grand Theft Auto V arrived on PC much later than the console version, as did Red Dead Redemption 2. Even the first Red Dead Redemption game has only just been released on PC after 13 years.
Reddit user Debuieba shared their sorrow in a post and was joined by several PC fans who were disappointed, but accepting that it'd make sense for them to release it on consoles first. Many also believe the PC port will be well worth the wait for all the bonus features it'll bring to the game.

One said "I don't mind, because it usually means the PC version gets cool extra graphical features. I'm definitely gonna get a console to play it on release though, I'd say GTA is THE console-seller for PC users."
"I’d love PC day one. But, I’m already ready to buy an Xbox series X at the announcement if this is the case."
"Yeah, we’ve had years to accept this. It is what it is…"
It doesn't seem like we're any closer to finding out what GTA VI actually looks like, when it'll launch, or what platforms it'll be available on. One thing is certain though, it just might break the Internet when a trailer finally drops.
