Said trailer is now being roasted by fans, and for good reason.
But what of the length of the new GTA?
Twitter user @LegacyKillaHD, who will undoubtedly be well known to you at this point, shared several insightful posts about the upcoming game.
Among those posts was one referencing the length of the story and how it isn’t as extensive as some fans have been assuming.

“The game is massive, full of a sh*t load of side content. Lot of countryside & towns. Main story is shorter than Red Dead 2, one central theme from a few sources is criminals figuring things out. Family struggles. Sounded like a more grounded story to me but...” they commented.
Note the “shorter than Red Dead 2”; this is what some fans are choosing to focus upon.
Fellow Twitter user Flowy replied, “Disappointed by the shorter story mode.”
However, another fan was quick to point out that the story campaign for RDR2 was “50-60 hours”, so we can rest easy knowing that GTA VI will still “have a long story”.

This leak isn’t keeping fans from celebrating being one year away from GTA VI’s release, though.
The hype train isn’t about to stop just because a leak suggests it’s slightly shorter than expected, however, fans are hoping this claim isn’t true.
