Grand Theft Auto fans are anticipating a new gameplay trailer before the end of the year, which has seemingly been teased by Rockstar Games itself.
With the Game Awards quickly approaching and the game’s release date falling sometime in 2025 many believe now’s a better time than any for Rockstar Games to give us a closer look at the new and improved Vice City.
Check out the initial trailer below
While no new trailers have aired at the moment one has been teased by a Rockstar representative at this year’s Golden Joystick Awards.

The awards ceremony celebrates some of the best gaming has to offer, including industry talent, 2024’s most beloved titles and of course future releases.
With GTA VI winning the Most Wanted Game award a Rockstar representative took to the stage to accept it, teasing GTA VI will be “absolutely mind-blowing” and there’s “more to come.”
Fans are taking this as a sign a second trailer is indeed on the horizon, and could drop sometime in December.
Don’t get your hopes up too much though, as it’s important to remember the first trailer for GTA VI was unexpectedly leaked so I’d imagine Rockstar is waiting for just the right time to ensure that doesn’t happen again.

Expectations for a second trailer include a better look at the open-world, specifically from a gameplay perspective rather than the cutscenes we saw in the first trailer.
Many are also hoping to see just how big the in-game map actually is, as it’s expected to dwarf GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 in comparison.
It’s unlikely we’ll get a release date, but the game is still expected to launch sometime in Fall 2024, provided there are no delays.
When it does launch though on Xbox and PlayStation platforms it’ll likely be one of the biggest media product launches of all time.
