How do we all feel about multiplayer being a part of GTA VI?
On paper, the idea sounds okay, but would it work for GTA VI in the long run; that’s what fans are asking after gameplay of such a feature has appeared.
Fans are still getting over a recent Rockstar Games announcement that left them heartbroken, so this news comes at a turbulent time.

A GTA fan has compiled a list of all the features potentially included in the upcoming GTA VI, and has revealed a multiplayer element we seemingly all ignored.
“While the Grand Theft Auto series (Story Mode) has traditionally been a single-player experience, the leaked clips hint at the possibility of cooperative gameplay (Co-op) between the two characters in GTA VI,” their post reads.

The evidence presented is quite compelling, however, there’s considerable disagreement over whether this is proof co-op multiplayer is destined for the game.
“There are other explanations as well. They could be or could have tested co-op functionality and the remnants are still in the code,” explained a Redditor.
“Or it could just be GTAO mechanics that are just intrinsic to their entire locomotion programming.”
As far as the fandom as a collective are concerned, the priority for Rockstar should be creating a “good story”.

A user that’s since deleted their account posted, “I hope they don’t do coop or the weird buddy commands thing [...] just want them [Rockstar] to play it safe, do a good story like they know they can do.”
Seeing how this unearthed bit of code is from a leak, it could be inaccurate or has since been discarded.
That said, if multiplayer remains, we, along with the fandom, hope it doesn’t mess up the winning formula that Rockstar has developed over the years.
