GTA 6 leaked loading times blow gamers away, and we can see why

GTA VI has us in a chokehold.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll undoubtedly say it again once the second trailer arrives.

Until we have said trailer, there are plenty of leaks out there, both true and false, that are stirring up high emotions within the GTA VI community.

A leaked video of the loading times between switching characters has fans intrigued; given what’s rumoured to happen, it’s not hard to understand why.

Similar to GTA V, character swapping will be key to the experience. After all, Rockstar Games is aiming for a Bonnie and Clyde style couple.

Can you spot anything new in the GTA VI trailer?

“I would imagine that character switching is quite similar to how it is in GTA V. I would also guess that character switching is probably more vital in GTA VI, given that the protagonists are likely a criminal duo,” posited Minute-Better.

This fluidity of going between Jason and Lucia is said to be “instantaneous”, intending to deliver a seamless transition.

If that is indeed the case, we’re in for a real treat when the next GTA instalment launches.

That said, some fans are concerned about how the loading times between the two characters will work.

Chiefly, they want it to be “organic”.

“I really hope that they don't shoehorn in the character swap mechanic in missions (as in design missions around them rather than it being 'organic'),” said DyLaNzZpRo.

They added, “But I'm sure most people want the ability to swap when cocking about.”

We’d like the best of both worlds.

The leak that’s given us a sneak preview of this transition holds much promise, but it’s that next GTA VI trailer that’s key.

Maybe we won’t see a great deal more than we already have done, though that seems unlikely.

With fans narrowing down the release date to one month, everyone is super hyped that we have less than a year to go before GTA VI is here.
