GTA 6 fans are losing their patience, following another week with no teaser trailer

Rockstar Games fans are tired of waiting for Grand Theft Auto VI, their disappointment is immeasurable and their days are ruined.

Rockstar Games fans are tired of waiting for Grand Theft Auto VI, their disappointment is immeasurable and their days are ruined.

You can’t exactly blame them either, Rockstar Games has reportedly been cooking up GTA VI for the past decade, yet nothing official about the game's story, world, or gameplay has been shared.

Many are speculating a reveal trailer will drop before the end of October, whereas others claim Rockstar is reluctant to share anything about the game until next year.

This means fans have had nothing to do but comb through the mountain of leaks and rumours, sifting through to find out which ones are genuine, and which ones give off “my uncle works at Rockstar” vibes.

Ultimately though, they’re sick of playing the waiting game, and continuously express their frustration online, especially recently as several claims the trailer would appear on 26 October were proven to be false.

Reddit user thatswhatsheeepsaid posted a meme mocking the agonisingly long wait which read: “I wake up … I wait for the trailer the entire day and cry into my pillow in utter disappointment … I wake up …”

Other fans were right there with them, with some even saying the lack of new information is actually making them less excited for the game, rather than build-up hype like Rockstar probably intended.

“All we can say is that we are getting 1 day closer to the trailer every day.”

“I'm actually experiencing anti-hype. Just bc I know it'll be 10-15 years before 7 comes out.”

“Over 10 years is a f****** joke to wait.”

Again, the frustration is understandable, and hopefully the finished product will be worth the wait.

That being said, there’s every possibility the reveal, and launch of the game will yield disappointment, especially if it lacks all the features fans were anticipating or saw in the leaks.
