At long last, the wait for a GTA VI teaser is ending, as sources say Rockstar is dropping one later this week.
It’s been an agonising wait to say the least, with each new rumour and gameplay leak slowly chipping away at everyone’s patience all while Rockstar Games smugly watches, like that Jim Halpert meme from The Office.

One of the final nails in the coffin was October, the month when most new Rockstar projects like GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 tend to get announced. Fans picked the dates they believed to most likely have a teaser trailer attached to them, but were continuously disappointed and disheartened when nothing was revealed.
Now, when it seems all was lost, a ray of hope has beamed through our computer screens as an official reveal for GTA VI is on the way.
It’s reported that Rockstar plans to share a teaser trailer for GTA VI as early as this week, followed up by a full trailer in December.
A prominent Grand Theft Auto leaker, Tez2, has since backed the claim, which was shared on the GTA6 subreddit by flicer0128. Tez2 claimed they can support the news through conversations with their own insider friends, finishing it off with “Rocktober is over, but the hype starts now.”

It seems fans are reluctant to get their hopes up though, and who can blame them? Many did point out the original source sounds credible but dismissed Tez2’s backing largely due to how much they’ve gotten wrong over the years compared to what they’ve got right.
One fan said “People should stop posting tweets from tez on here … wouldn't consider him reliable at this point.
“Jason Schreier on the other hand has a good reputation, so I'm actually convinced we're getting an announcement soon.”
Others were just happy to finally be on the cusp of an actual reveal, with one saying, “We made it…”

Another added, “Knowing my luck I’ll drop dead an hour before it’s announced.”
Not long to go now, a GTA VI reveal is finally within reach, unless Rockstar decides to cruelly pull the rug from under us.
